Retro movie to recommend
Today's a rainy Sunday, lazing around in the living room, channel surfing , and I happen to bump into this retro movie as it was starting. The title sounds interesting, it has Chow Yun Fatt and Cherie Chung and its from 1987, the golden years of HK movies..
The title is <<鬼新娘>>. Sounds really spooky right? I was also prepared for a spooky film. But, it turn out to be a sad, romantic comedy produced back in 1987.
This show is really a Chow Yun Fatt classic, the original Chow before he went to hollywood. The rubberfaced, funny, un-serious Chow Yun Fatt which I prefer over the replacement killer.
Anyway, the movie is a simple, yet touching love story between a pitiful female ghost and a playful street thug. The director managed to capture some emotions which make the show engrossing. The superb acting by Chow and Chung's pretty face simply makes this movie more enjoyable on a cool, lazy Sunday afternoon. I've attached a pic of the DVD cover. If you guys are bored, maybe you can try looking for this classic.

Kena harassed by a girl...
Today, I was so hungry that I had to squeeze into the canteen at noon, I usually go slightly after 1pm to avoid the crowd. The queue here is damn freaking long and messy. The queues for different stores are inter-winded and they basically form a humongous clump of people standing around hungry and in daze.
I decided to have mixed rice today, so I walked to the queue and try to trace the end of the queue. Managed to find the end, so i tapped the last guy in the queue and asked if he was queuing for rice. He just gave me a nod, so I happily stood behind him.
As I look down on the floor and feel my stomach growling, I felt my butt kena rammed by what seem like another body. I turn around and a mainlander girl gave me a cold stare. She then points to the end of another line without saying anything... It seemed that I had not gone to the real "end of the line". I quickly put up my hand and apologised and join the "real end of line".
So, where's the harassment? you asked. I think that mainlander girl could had done better by tapping my shoulder and tell me where's the end of the queue. The ramming of body, cold stare and finger pointing could had been saved. These gestures might seem small, but I really think they contribute to make this society more gracious. Agree? or Maybe its just me being whinyafter kena rammed by an elephant. :X

Digusting sight.
This morning on the MRT station platform saw a mainlander who dressed very stylish. But his face is full of chicken pox scars.
AND WHY THE HELL IS HE TAKING MRT AT THAT PEAK HOUR! He should be home resting, avoid crowds and reduce infections to others. He seem to be on the late stages of chicken pox and that is the "most infectious" stage. He's gonna spread his disease to many other people squeezing into the train with him at that time. Those poor office worker...
How come these people so not civic conscious one?
