mixed
I don't know if I really liked you or it was just a passing crush that had already past.
You used to appear so adorable to me, now you seemed childish. Maybe you're still young, you need your space. I don't know.
You are still as cute, your innocence and seeing you still makes my heart race, but, those are just superficial. They won't last.
You used to seem so vulnerable, made me want to protect you with my life. Now, you're just wilful to me, but, you're still a young lady. You'll improve.

Little Cutie!
hahaha!! she's so cute!!
was really tired after work and was feeling quite down for not earning enough...
until I saw this little cutie!
She's so cute with those big eyes!
That cute expression managed to put a smile on my face!
I found this picture off a singaporean forum, I don't really know its source, if you're the owner, please tell me ok, I'll give you recognition.

Something Stupid
I know I stand in line
Until you think you have the time
To spend an evening with me
And if we go someplace to dance
I know that there's a chance
You won't be leaving with me
Then afterwards we drop into a quiet little place
And have a drink or two
And then I go and spoil it all
By saying something stupid
Like I love you
I can see it in your eyes
That you despise the same old lines
You heard the night before
And though it's just a line to you
For me it's true
And never seemed so right before
I practice every day to find some clever lines to say
To make the meaning come through
But then I think I'll wait until the evening gets late
And I'm alone with you
The time is right
Your perfume fills my head
The stars get red
And oh the night's so blue
And then I go and spoil it all
By saying something stupid
Like I love you
I love you...
Nice song with sweet lyrics. Enjoy, ;)
Joyes 0 0 mei
Joyes, pronouced as Joy - Yes, I dunnoe where she got the inspiration for this wired name maybe, Joy? Yes!!
Her chinese name is equally interesting too, "zero - zero - younger sister" in chinese. Because her chinese name ends with mei (younger sister), its quite awkward to introduce her to my friends, people always thought I am trying to get fresh of her when I address her as my "younger sister" She's quite a poor thing too with this name, imagine guys getting the wrong impressions when you intro yourself as a younger sister. But well, its a nice name afterall and the mei isn't younger sister, but another mei.
Still remember how I knew her, I was at spenz' chalet back during our poly year 1 semester break. It was very late after midnight, all the other girls had retreated back to the bedroom, me and spenz was gamming on PS in the living room. We were hungry and I decided to look for food. Just as I stood up, I caught "something" sitting at the dinning table from the corner of my eye. My heart missed 3 beats. Its Joyes sitting quietly at the dinning table watching us from behind. She shocked me because all the other girls were in the room and I wasn't expecting anyone behind us.
hmm, from poly year 1 til now, its been almost 6 years since I knew her. So far, she had been fun to hang around with. Always the target of my bullying and jokes. She's always curious about stuff around her and her friends. Her why's & how's always flow non stop whenever you speak to her. But isn't that good, it shows that she's eager to learn and her concerns for friends. But sometimes, she's just a plain busybody. hahaha...
Joyes always like to "act cute", frequently quoting cartoon characters and gestuering like them. So far, she had been quite successful and that makes her very adorable. She never fails to make me laugh with all those silly antics and her adorable pout.
She's a good listener and she's one of my speaking channel online, although I guess, half of the time, she's either away from keyboard busy with her stuff, talking to someone else or playing her games elsewhere. But she always make it a point to read my speech/complains and reply with something, sometimes great advises, sometimes just plain silly acknowledgements.

Weekend Job at PC Show'05
Got myself a temp job promoting twinhxad laptops at the PC Show over the weekend.
It was
- fun, meeting new people, all sorts of wierdos and "special" people
- disappointing, earning miserable comission compared to friends representing other brands
- tiring, imagine standing 10 hours daily and talking non stop
- educational, learned something about the laptop trade and electronics
1st thing 1st, just in case you dunnoe what's twinhxad, its a laptop maker, and they're actually making laptops behind the scene for some famous brands. I would say their laptop are competitively priced and practically designed.
At the show, I met new friends working with me, the 2 full timers, Mark & James, were nice guys, they're really helpful and its really great working with them. They were really proficient in their jobs and are always willing to help, great guys... hope I get to work with them again! The other promoters were interesting too. There's 2 Ben at our booth, so they named themselves B1 & B2, just like the Bananas in Pyjamas. Then there's 2 ladies, didn't get to know their names. Cute little ladies, they are fun to hang out with.
At the show, you also get to see all sorts of wierdos from bargain hunters to money splashers. The bargain hunters will try all means to get your price to the minimum, quoting you out of the world low prices and still asking for loads of freebies. Then there's a few examples of money splashers around. I met someone who will buy 2 laptops from you to gain points in her card. The 2 laptops were paid for without second thoughts and they're meant for her primary school kids to game. There's another uncle in his 60s who brought also his fat "girlfriend" from china, the 2 of them knew nuts about computers and he is buying her the top range laptop so she can "surf net & watch DVDs"
Then, there's the "specials", nerds, geeks whatever you call them... They'll collect all the leaflets they can find, easily hundreds pieces and stuff them into their smelly backpacks. They'll hide in a corner and stare at female promoters without blinking. They'll follow models in miniskirts around the show and stare. They'll challenge promoters to computer specs and prices, to show their superior nerdy knowledges. SICK!
My disappointment for the show is I got assigned to a brand that's relatively unknown. Laptop shoppers still go for reputable brands afterall. I only managed to sell 4.5 sets over the 4 days as compared to 19 sets in 4 days from a friend at Txshiba. You might wonder how did I sell the 0.5 set? I prmoted it together with Ben, B1 and we shared the comission for that set. After calculating, my hourly pay (comission + basic/ total hours) is just $4+. Very miserable! But at least I got to meet more people than slacking at home and I picked up some computer knowledge from this show as well.
