Fishes @ home
Guys as usual, after a long MIA, you'll find this blog updated with fish pics again.
Yes, new pics of the new fishes I bought the last 2 months & of course my favourites too!
I've decided to crop my pics & fit them into collages so as to save time loading and to show off my tiny pinch of talent in creating collages.
First up, my new recuits, PLECOS!
here's an overview of my plecos first
Next, we'll focus on my 1st exotic pleco, the L114
Check out its colours, the red fins & tails. It got a pair of sinister looking eyes too, but the picture quality was too poor to feature this. :(
My second exotic pleco is a Royal Panaque, L190?
Loves its red eyes, big head and big appetite.
I've got only 3 plecos, but I'm looking into getting more if budget allows
Next up, my Cichlids
First, is a collage of my newest spawn of convicts, see how big they've grown!
Notice, one of the most special kid of this spawn is the "balding" one. It got dorsal fin growing further back than normal ones. And, of course, my 3 rainbow cichlis, they're suppose to be really colourful, but I guess they can't handle the stress well in a community tank. In the end, their stress bars are always on.
The first american cichlids that I kept was the Golden Severums, Apollo. Till today, they're still one of my favourites. I've dreamt of one day having a big community tank of different severums in there. It'll be a sight!
Currently, I've got only 2 golden severums. The one on the left column is my bigger one and the one of the right is slightly smaller, but recently its been catching up on size!
The most adorables cichlids which had been with me for the longest got to be my piglets.
They're:
-always the first in queue for food
-constantly scanning the tank up down left right for scraps of edibles.
There's 3 of them and they're simply adorable!
