Let's talk about religion.
In case you don't know, I'm a buddhist. Don't ask me if its by choice or by force. I find that very offending. (ok, in case you wanna know, I chose to be a buddhist.)
Everytime, I meet new people around, there'll be those whom wanna absorb me into their religion. They'll question my choice of religion.
"Do you know its not necessary unfilial to not follow your parent's religion."
"Are you being forced into buddhism by your parents?"
"You'll be in heaven if you follow my GOD."
Can you imagine how irritating those questions are? I had studied on my religion and I had chose to be a buddhist myself. Can't you people just respect my choice? I'm not like some people out there. Whom chose a religion without knowing what it really mean. Whom goes to certain place of worship just because its "hip" to be spotted there. Whom converted because your new crush is of that religion. I look down on you!
And people out there, if you wanna preach, do it in moderation. Well, it might be good that some people got to be in their "right religion" because of you. But, don't question my choice! You're not getting me in with such rude questions and they're not gonna score points with your GOD.
Every religion is suppose to be good to mankind. The only difference is they are based on different basis. They all teach man to be good and do good. If you practise a certain religion and you felt you're doing the right things, good for you.
For those whom had chosen your religion wisely and practising it correctly. I applaud you. For those misguided souls, work harder, wish you'll finally find your heaven one day.
[I'm not pin pointing at certain religion here, no offense meant to anyone out there. some personal thoughts with some extra time = this post. I grew up in a multi cultural society with friends from different race, religion, pay check. I'm enjoying the diversity.]
