ARGH!!
Disappointments never travel alone. A week before Starwars opened, agreed to watch Starwars Episode 3 with Choo on 30th May (today). I had to decline all invitations and endure boring outing with friends last week without movies (there's not many shows on last week, its either starwars or some boring crap), just so that I can keep to my promise of watching Starwars with Choo...
Sent him an SMS just now and he replied saying he had forgotten all about it and he's too busy to watch it today, how about tomorrow? I AM SO DISAPPOINTED, and I am packed till 17 June with family, trainnings & jobs.
Worst, he never even volenteered to admit his fault and say sorry. During the arguement, when he noticed his fault, instead of taking a step back and apologize, he unleashed his vulgar dictionary and doubted my intelligence. I had to remind him that I'm having a clear mind and his vulgarities are not gonna help in the arguement. Finally, he admitted his fault but without any apology.
Such disappointment! I took him as a MAN and take his words as accountable but in return, he acted like just another boy.
At this age of >22+, they are considered adults, MAN on paper (legal adults), they should be held accountable for their words. Yes, I agree that being humans, our memory can't hold everything. But, when you notice you're wrong, just admit it and apologise without hesitation. Don't try to argue your way through with Force/ Vulgarities/ Lame excuses. Yes, you may sound like you have the upper hand in the arguement, but what's the point? A fault is still a fault, no matter its a freak accident or human error or in most cases a genuine fault, when you are wrong, admit it readily, apologise and offer remedy. Behave like a Gentleman.
Back to being responsible and accountable, when you know you have poor memory, note down your appointments/ promises with paper & pen, PDA if you can afford it. Decades ago, man of this age are already laiden with the responsibility to raise a family and the trust by their family to feed them. Decades later, men of this age are better educated and read more, but their responsibility and accountablity are dropping. Their words are getting cheaper, promises are made to be broken and appointments are often made to be failed. Or maybe they just got poorer memory?
Maybe, its just the fussy me, the self centered me whom always sees fault with the world around me and never thought myself to be at fault. But, well, I had been trying my very best to remind myself to behave like how I expected of others. I had identified faults in me and I had tried to correct myself, effective or not still awaits to be seen. Just wished I am the gentleman I expect others to be and these boys do learn from their mistakes and grow out of them.
For a better world tomorrow.
P/S; Please feel free to comment, positive or negetive all welcome. From your comments, I may learn and improve.

Irresponsibility
Was suppose to meet Chang yesterday (Saturday). I arranged for us to meet at 11am @ Sim Lim Sq to register for our temp job. I sms him the day before and he agreed to the meeting time. Friday evening, Chang went out drinking with some friends.
Saturday morning, at 11am, I called Chang and he was still in bed! He expected me to pity with him because he slept at 6am that morning. Why did he slept so late/early? Because he was having a good time outside with his friends the night before.
Chang disappointed me, he's such a irresponsible boy. He agreed to the meeting time and location, being a grown up, he's ought to plan his own time and schedules. I don't give a damn whether he slept at 6am, 7am or don't sleep at all, I don't care where was he the night before. He agreed to meet, he's ought to be out before 11am. What made matters worst was he expected me to pity his puny ass because he slept at 6am. What an IDIOT! He's no MAn... He's just a boy, a boy whom had not grown up to learn the rules of this ruthless, capitalist world... Chang, if you're reading, I really hope you understood what's wrong and do your neccessary adjustments.

Champions League Final.
Just woke up from the late night football. It was a smashing match! the first 45mins was owned by AC Milan. Kaka, Pirlo, Shevchenko, Crespo, Maldini, they were superb! They wrecked and thrashed Liverpool 3-0 by the 45th min.
But on the 2nd half, Benitez did some magic to his team and they came back 3-3. 3 goals were scored within 6 mins. The game dragged into extra time then penalty shootout. By then, Milan was all tired and I guess they just gave up on the game and lost the penalty shoot out.
Milan was the better team that played better, flowing, attacking football. But somehow, the team just crumbled when Gerald and Smicer scored.
Liverpool is the Champions of Europe. How unpredicatable, they were thrashed at half time... Its a good reminder for me not to be over confident. And when slight mistake occurs, don't give up, fight on and preserve!
Congratulations Benitez! You're great! Time to Challenge Jose for the title!
The EPL is getting more exciting now with 2 new talented managers joining the race. It used to be a Ferguson VS Wenger competition and things get boring after a while. Now, with Benitez & Jose Mourihno, the EPL's drawing more talented football superstars. Next season will only get hotter!
ARGH!! @#$%$%#^@#@#&*!! What bad luck! I betted on Singapore Pools for Milan to win with a 1.5 goals handicap. <Odds = $1 : $3.85> If Milan had defended their 3-0 lead, I would had been $28.50 richer now! But, nevermind, I had just donated $10 to community chest! Another karma done! ;)

Had I grown or I just looked old?
Recently noticed I've been given older addressing and I'm having mixed feelings about them.
I've been addressed as 老板, 大哥 at shops. Some kids started calling me "Uncle".
I don't know if you guys felt these addressings are old. I thought they are old.
Actually, I'm slightly glad about it because, people noticed I've matured and I'm seen as a MAN now, no more kiddy boyish treatments. I've been given more trust and respect but I'm expected to be more responsible.
But, I'm also sad about this recent "promotion" to adult addressing. I missed being a 小弟 to shop owners and I am still very much a "Kor Kor" whom can play with kids because I still play Pokemon Saphire with my Gameboy Advanced now. I like to be looked at as a kid sometimes, because I can just be bochap and things will still turn out well. I haven't had enough fun as a kid and I don't want to be promoted so fast! I'm still a student, you know? I'm just 22+ now... Only a year+ into adulthood, can I have more transition time? I'm slow... S L O W... you get me?
People always judge books by their covers, so, Maybe its my dressing? Maybe its my hair?
Recently, I had been putting on a lot of dark coloured, collared T-shirts with jeans/ pants when I'm out. <I'm topless with my shorts at home.> Maybe I should just return to my colourful T-shirts and bermudas to retain my youth.
I had not cut my hair since colouring them for CNY <about 4months+ >. Its touching my eyebrowns in front and covered half my ears at the sides. They're wooden brown at the ends and about 2 inch of black from the roots. Guess this hair gives me the Old beng rocker look,伍佰/ 五月天 feeling> . But, I like the way my hair is now, the weather is not really very hot & humid nowadays, so, the length and thickness is not irritating me yet. I like to bundle up my hair at the back and imagine I can tie them up. I like sweeping my hair to the sides and hooking them up over my ears. Guess I'm in love with my haird for now, so, I think I'll just have to keep them neat when I'm out.
May my youth retain...
Back to TV now, Its champions league final, AC Milan VS Liverpool. 2 defensive teams, sounds boring eh? But, what the heck! Its UEFA Champions League final! Must Watch! Hope I don't doze off... hahaha...

Outings over the long long weekend
The weekend that just past, quite busy...
Friday nite went supper with Andrew, BC, Dan, Gary, TL and others at Bedok 85 market. It was a short one, took us about an hour because the gang was eager to play mahjong at BC's place. These gamblers can't eat when mahjong's on their mind. But, Gary and me whom were not interested in mahjong were happy eating. We finished $4 worth of boiled cockles and I down 4 "soup rounds" aka dumplings - 2 black sesame & 2 peanuts. Feels good!
After supper, drove Gary to an aquarium in Joo Chiat to view some new pleco imports. At the shop, Gary spotted an Aba aba, > 1ft long at $180. He fell in love with the fish when the aquarium owner showed him how the Aba aba ate small feeder fishes alive. I couldn't keep my eyes off the Royal Panaques and brought home a L190 Royal Panaque. It got a big head and red eyes, damn cool! I love it when it hides under its wooden shelter and peek at you, when you stare back at it, it will just look away and "act cool" lol! This guy's just cute! After fish buying, went back tampines for more food, had Roti pratas and a good chat with Gary.
Saturday, met up with my polymates Kayboon & Desmond for dinner and FA cup. Dinner was simple macdonalds @ Suntec. After dinner, Desmond told us his rendevous in Indonesia. Desmond's a lucky man! But, I'm not gonna share drinks with him anymore! Eee!
We later headed to Zee10 at Milenia Walk for a drink and to watch FA Cup "live". Met Spencer there and he sat down and joined us for beer and FA Cup. The "live" match was quite exciting until Rio Ferdinand scored an "offside" goal. Because, there was another crowd watching the same match across the road. This crowd apparently got a telecast which is 20 seconds faster than us. So, before Rio scored, we already heard cheers across the road, while, the ball was still with Paul Scholes on our giant screen. In the end, the match was no longer exciting, as any near chances were screamed at us across the road before we even watch it on TV. Anyway, the match ended 0-0, Man Utd got more chances, but they just can't score. Arsenal won the FA Cup on penalties.
Sunday afternoon was spent at Cineleisure. Gary, Richard, KaBoon, Gigi, Diana, me and others were involved in an NK* event. It was the Madagascar Premiere and NK* was holding it in appreciation of their donars and supporters. We were involved in entertaining the kids and teenager donars. They are the Elite Lifesavers! We acted as Zoo Keepers and assistants looking for lost animals and played games with the young audience. We gave out gifts and bookmarks for the games, and the crowd was overjoyed!
And we met the NK* communications department ladies. They are all very well dressed and Gary and I were drooling. These girls sure know how to communicate!
Monday's Grandma's birthday, went hougang with mom, bro and sis and the giant durian cake. Grandma was really happy and she actually proudly declared "Its my birthday and the family's together to celebrate for me." Mom was overjoyed when she heard these words from grandma. Ever since falling down years ago, Grandma had been having problems with speech and movements. These words are rare from Grandma and they were really the highlight of the day. Happy Birthday Grandma!
-The long weekend had ended for the rest of Singapore, but not for the fortunate unemployed undergrads who are enjoying their vacations.-
Tuesday, we planned to shop at Bugis, but ended up having lunch at Marche, Suntec. It was a late lunch and we filled the table with food. Rosti, Pizza, Mushroom soup, Fried Calamari, "Roti Prata with banana and ice cream". Almost had beer, but our heavy stomach stopped us. A weekday late lunch at Marche is nice, there's not many customers other than us and a few tourist. The place was quiet and food was served promptly. So different from the crowded, noisy and rowdy weekend lunch. Today, We get to choose our seats, eat at our own pace and chatted at our comfortable volume.
After lunch, walked to the cinema, hoping to find a show. The cinema's a pathetic place for non star wars fan this week. There's only 3 shows at EngWah Suntec - Star Wars, Kingdom Of Heaven and another horror flick. No show, so we shopped around in Suntec and our window shopping just continued to CityLink to Plaza Singapure to Heeren to Cineleisure to Wisma and we ended up at Coffee Bean, Ngee Ann City, to rest our feet. Ended the outing after the drinks.
This week's movie schdule had been owned by starwars. GV @ Plaza Singapure only got 4 shows on tuesday, the 3 at EngWah and "The Jacket". Cineleisure got more shows but more than half of their screenings were dedicated to Starwars. The other non StarWars show that interest us -My Boyfriend is B type - was sold out for the day.

Leaving on a Jet Plane
so kiss me and smile for me
tell me that you'll wait for me
hold me like you'll never let me go
cos I'm leaving on a Jet Plane
Don't know when I'll be back again...
~Every place I go, I'll think of you
Every song I sing, I sing for you~

tonsilitis SUCKS
1 week of sickness! That sucks! Having your sickness wrongly diagnosed doubled suckered! Last tues, went to school sick, was feeling damn bad so I went to this doctor "outside" - The doc jus shone his torch down my throat and diagnosed me with common fever with sore throat. Gave me some "strong" antibiotics - erythormycin - and assured me I'll be well in 2 days. 2 days later, I didn't felt any better, but worst, I'm having gastric, feeling nausea with something drumming in my stomach. Decided to go visit my family doctor, Dr S, I brought my drugs along... With more examinations and looking further down my throat, Dr S was surprised that my first doctor didn't see my tonsils were swelling with pus! This time, I'm diagnosed with Tonsilitis and the gastric was caused by the "stronger" antibiotics which can't fight my tonisilitis. which means, instead of helping me, the first doc gave me gastric! was prescribed with more drugs and warned that I'm gonna be real weak for the rest of the week. the week passed, my tonsilitis recovered finally! lesson learnt, not all doctors are doing their job! some of them out there are just shining their torch down your throat to make you feel "healed" Avoid these docs in furture! !! Finally, saw my L114 eat this morning. But it wasn't easy, I had to hold on still in front of the tank after throwing the algae tabs in. After a while, the L114 thought nobody was watching and decided to open his red fins and swim out of his wooden cave. he sweeps his red tail around and suckered himself onto 1 of the tabs. Suck it for a few seconds before retreating back to his wooden cave. It looks like a careful thief when feeding. I'm glad its feeding and I'm sure it'll be out for more food in the furture. Till then, gonna feed it some chopped prawns for it to grow bigger.

Finally my holidays are here!
Yes, my exams are almost over. tomorrow is my last paper... Communication Skills. Opem Book, what to study??
The last paper I did, hydrology, the 2nd paper of the double whammy was bad. I did it very badly. I was so tired and my mind was blank, I smoked my way through the theories and for the graphs and calculations, I did 4 graphs and out of them, 1 was totally wrong! I guess I am gonna retake my hydrology again! I think this is the bad karma for laughing at Apollo...
Apollo is this guy in my hydrology lecture, he retook his hydrology and he was named Apollo because he was giving out free Apollo biscuit when he was running for our acedemic club's vice president...
I was surfing around aquarist website over the weekend and a type of catfish caught my eyes and I am suckered into them now... Yes, they are suckers! Plecos!
I am really interested in Panaques, L128 and L200 now~ but these guys don't come cheap. any guys out there want buy me some Plecos, please leave your contact in my comments!
here's some links for the suckers from planetcatfish.com
